Rental Apartments

Most short-term rental apartments are not full service i.e. you will have to prepare your own meals. There is not a lot of paperwork involed in renting an apartment. The process is usually fast and easy. Based on your price range, you can browse our webside and book an apartment in advance. But once you get there, if it is not to your liking or does not match the online description, you should contact us immediately and we will sort the issue out in less than an hour. A studio apartment in the city center will cost you $500 per month. If you are looking for an apartment for just a few days, the average price ranges from 10,000 to 20,000 drams per day. If you are renting longer term, you will usually have to pay for utilites as well. If you intend to stay for less than a month, the owner will pay them. Make sure the apartment has all the modern conveniences: gas, hot and cold water, a heating system and an air-conditioner. If the apartmet is situatend in the city center, it's better to rent on a higher floor, for less noise from the street. It is rather hard to stay away from noise in Yerevan. Bear in mind that renting an apartment guarantees you a real Yerevan lifestyle. Do not get surprised at street vendors louldly praising their products. You can still buy vegetabes, fruits, dairy procusts, fish, honey, detergents and even brooms in the backyard of your building in Yerevan. Sometimes, vendors knock on apartment doors offering their product. Occasionally, people bargain from their windows.

Neighbors usually know each other well, and often knock on each others' doors to ask for sugar, salt, painkillers ... you name it. You can also turn to them for help. Do not get surprised if you get invited over for coffee. If you have a loud neighbor, it's usually best just to live with it. To tell the truth, complaining is often useless. There is no building management either, so you should immediately contact us if someting has happened. Rental apartments have their advatages and disavantages. But if you want to live the real Yerevan life, this choice is the best for you.
